AS I LAY DYING To Guest On 'Loveline'

San Diego, California metallers AS I LAY DYING will be the featured guests on tonight's (Tuesday, May 25) edition of the nationally syndicated "Loveline" radio show with host Dr. Drew Pinsky. The program airs weeknights from 10:00 p.m. until midnight PST (1:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. EST).

"The Powerless Rise", the new album from AS I LAY DYING, sold 38,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 10 on The Billboard 200 chart.

AS I LAY DYING' last album, "An Ocean Between Us", opened with 39,500 units back in August 2007 to land at No. 8.

"The Powerless Rise" was released on May 11 via Metal Blade Records.

After AS I LAY DYING wraps its current headlining U.S tour with DEMON HUNTER, BLESSTHEFALL and WAR OF AGES, the group will head overseas for shows in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, France, Holland, Russia, Italy, Belgium, Sweden and the U.K. On July 12, AS I LAY DYING will launch the "Cool Tour" with UNDEROATH, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, BLESSTHEFALL, THE ACACIA STRAIN, ARCHITECTS, CANCER BATS, and WAR OF AGES. The nationwide trek will launch July 12 in Orlando and wrap in San Francisco on August 1.
